She is that attention craving lone wolf stereotype of a goth chick. She can never really love anyone but herself, only elevate from her dark depths of despair into what you can offer her. Once she is done with you, she will move on and disappear, because you will eventually know she is fake. Saddest thing ever: this is only kind of gothic girl I have met ( 3 so far). |

I read all the comments through and I know the lyrics are not saying it at all, but I keep thinking we always want what we cannot have. Simple as that. We are destroying the world and we still want it to be green. We want life to be easy and comfortable, while nature gets destroyed. So here is your little plastic tree to enjoy, as a replacement for the real thing. You can get away with choosing the easy and fake stuff for comfort, but you really buy the plastic tree - and melancholy sets in when you miss the real stuff. Like your old friends not afraid of telling you the truth not your new ones giving you coke, real and hurtful love and not the middle of the road you ended up with to make life more pleasant, taking your life back when addicted to something etc. Melancholy is a passive state of mind, its a comfort zone that does not take you anywhere. Taking action might hurt, but at least the pain is real. It's like Daemon says: "Your choice".... |
