The Bouncing Souls are hardly pop punk, they're east coast punk. they have the particular sound that they share somewhat with DKM. |

Sorry to shatter the dreams of people who think that the beatles would never write a song about LSD (i joke) but Sir Paul admitted himself that this wang was about LSD. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/3769511.stm |

I think there's a bit more to it than just greedy landlords. I'm pretty sure it's aimed more for fat cat CEOs who make their money off the sweat, blood, and broken bones of the common workers and fuck them over just to make money. It's pretty much a metaphor comparing CEOs to landlords and the workers to tenants. "They always find a way to kick out the needy," landlords kick out the person who is struggling to make rent on time, the CEO fires the worker who works too much over time to be able to afford to feed his/her family. Pretty straight forward. |

Beat this brat over the head. This kid should learn to say fuck the troops in German or Japanese and say it to some WW2 vets. Im sure they'll gladly remind you of why you're still speaking english. This song is not a knock to the troops but rather G H Bush. Besides, your point is destroyed by "Let them eat war," by...Bad Religion...dumbass kid. |

I have to agree with you on this. This song is less about the soldiers, and more about Bush Sr. saying that non Christians make terrible patriots. Greg is actually defending soldiers her in being ironic. As for the "fuck the troops comment," you really need to take a better look at your life. You trash the troops, yet they fight and die so you don't have to and so you can sit there and say "fuck the troops." Bad Religion respects the military as a thing that has to be so they can say what they say and do what they do. |

| Soundgarden – Limo Wreck Lyrics

You know, I appreciate everyone's thoughts on this song. I never heard it the way most of you folks have, how I heard it was this:
The sudden explosion of the music scene out of Seattle brought in a much larger population and materialism. Bigger buildings were built and highways were extended and so forth. I thought that Chris was saying that the grunge movement was responsible for it and that he was essentially apologizing to the citizens of Seattle. But I could be wrong. This is my absolute favorite Soundgarden song. I guess i just heard it differently than all of you lol. |
