The title implies that something is constantly feeding it's output back into it's input, my guess is that the lyricist is talking about a feedback loop being symbolic of his thoughts. The output is dependent upon the input and is predictable. Rules and boundaries in his thinking have distorted his notions on past experiences and emotions. He can't accept this flaw and wants to break through to new ways of thinking about his life, which he knows exist within him. |

The lyricist has failed to recognize an opportunity and he's consumed with regret now that he missed out. He's been awakened and is hurt, but he can find solace that he will be a different person now that is feeling more and can unlock wonderful opportunities in his life. Now that he's had some introspection, he would like to feel more and come out of his shell but not be paralyzed by negative thinking and remorse. |
