The title implies that something is constantly feeding it's output back into it's input, my guess is that the lyricist is talking about a feedback loop being symbolic of his thoughts. The output is dependent upon the input and is predictable. Rules and boundaries in his thinking have distorted his notions on past experiences and emotions. He can't accept this flaw and wants to break through to new ways of thinking about his life, which he knows exist within him.
