Ahhh, this song gets me every time. It is simply the most beautiful song describing the emptiness left with you when someone you love walks out of your life. You can't help but replay those memories like a movie - through the haze you seem only to remember the good memories. I love the guitar and violin combination, it's utterly haunting. The lyrics are pretty self-explanatory in my opinion, it's simplicity is what I think works so well. I sent this song to my ex 6 months after we split.... it helped me to let go for good, and this song just about summed it all up |
