| I believe this song is about freeing yourself from anything holding you. Whether drugs are involved or not, we all sometimes have feelings that imprison us, that repress or arbitrarily invade us making us feel bad. Hence the chorus about not getting enough space in a way that leaves us overwhelmed, indecisive, frozen in panic in front of conflict. Screaming for space is a way to demonstrate that we also think and feel. It's the end of the dead end road. | |

Maybe this song is about a couple which was in love once. Then, they probably broke up. But they keep meeting at night, "in the shadows". For one of them, the other is "the sun". For one of them, they're dreaming of a different tomorrow, when their love is higher than sun and night, anything. Just my thoughts on this nebulous beautiful song. |
