I was 19 when this came out.....my mother was 63.....we're American/Polish....I asked her the proper pronunciation of the title.....after she asked me to play it.....her comment was "he's playing a dirge for my Poland".....that is what always stuck with me.....always one of my favorites....love you, mom.....( and david)...xoxo |
