Love this song and many others by the Hooks. I really love the references to Nixon and Leonard Cohen. Like so many other Hooks songs, this one was controversial and thought provoking. This song is from the album of the same name released in 1975. Their previous (debut) album "Living in The 70s" (released in 1974) had six songs banned from play on commercial radio. This of course ensured sales of the record skyrocketed... |

@[suckmykiss:5982] Bob Dylan and Sara were married from November 22, 1965 - June 29, 1977 so about 11 and a half years. Others have speculated on this point and it might be talking about his marriage and subsequent breakup with Sara. It certainly fits in well with the time when they broke up. |
