Definately one for vinyl... Love this song and album (living in the 70's) cranked up to 10. The skyhooks were quite fwd thinking and clever. RIP shirl we all luv ya!
Love this song and many others by the Hooks. I really love the references to Nixon and Leonard Cohen. Like so many other Hooks songs, this one was controversial and thought provoking. This song is from the album of the same name released in 1975. Their previous (debut) album "Living in The 70s" (released in 1974) had six songs banned from play on commercial radio. This of course ensured sales of the record skyrocketed...
