He died, or left, or something alike... "Mister K mister K They told me not to be sad It is just a matter of time What if you had stopped time What if I'm stuck on yours" His life was pefect, when Mr. K still was present. Now that he is gone, he can't imagine how to continue living. "Mister K mister K State of mind Not really united any more" His mind is getting ill, maybe he gets like schizophrenic. "But one thing is for real a fish is a better friend Than a human And that’s for sure" Hmm, maybe Mister K didn't die, but he left by decision... That's why the first-person narrator now lost his trust in human relationships. "My goldfish died today, my goldfish died today Mister K mister K I named it Jack the ripper Psycho under water The only livin' memory Showing how, you stabbed me" The goldfish was his replacement for the friend. He named him Jack the Ripper, because he thinks his friend's decision (to go) was heartless. Now he lost his last and best friend, as the goldfish (which brought him also back to mind his old friend Mr K.) dies. I am not sure if the first person narrator is a woman, because then it would be a sad love story... but it's always difficult to imagine a heroine, when a man is singing the song. So it should be about broken friendship. |
