| Melvins – Tipping The Lion Lyrics | 12 years ago |

"Tipping the Lion" was the name given to a violent act committed by the London street gang Mohocks in the early 18th century. It involved finding an innocent person, crushing in their nose with a large piece of iron, and then gouging out their eyes with the thumbs. It might be about that, but I'm not sure. Does anyone else think so? Great song though. I love the guitar and drums. |

| Most definitely. Kirk has said many times that he suffered from alcholism. | |
| Flipper – (I Saw You) Shine Lyrics | 12 years ago |

Possibly about abusing a person, be it a child, then the abuser turns to that person noticing what he/she did and they feel horrible, remorseful, wanting to be forgiven by the abused. I don't know who wrote the lyrics (I'm guessing either Bruce Loose or Will Shatter), but I certainly don't know what the intentions were when they wrote this song. Whoever wrote it obviously knows the actual meaning. Personally, I usually do not like to analyze lyrics. But there you go. Flipper rules! |
