Tipping The Lion Lyrics

follow me
point to my head
that's res'nant
solid dead
i ain't gonna stand leaking from my head
don't like the front of me
on a band

be still the message lee
dis stick in a modern tale
by fole(?) lie my half see
hun-ree a bad ride

violence
strikin' spare
seems fortified
down square
why is the quality reaching over side
my tears indignantly pawn a five(?)

you still motor high
reach thick in a model-t
right for lie
high bise? cold
forty lee
and for a why

Cover art for Tipping The Lion lyrics by Melvins

"Tipping the Lion" was the name given to a violent act committed by the London street gang Mohocks in the early 18th century. It involved finding an innocent person, crushing in their nose with a large piece of iron, and then gouging out their eyes with the thumbs.

It might be about that, but I'm not sure. Does anyone else think so?

Great song though. I love the guitar and drums.
