Love the song - it is intelligent and done amazingly well as a performance. i find it interesting that Gotye was born AFTER LP records were replaced by other media, mainly cassette tapes. just wondered why he would reference 'records' which to him would not be current vernacular. perhaps it scanned or had more meaning than 'tapes', more meaning to oldies too. i grew up with records. i also like the fact that it is from both viewpoints |
