| Yes, it was about his mother who had been abused (in a 'guess what' way, don't want to be graphic). He wanted to take on his mother's pain here. Very moving song. Very Sad. I'm still not sure if it was his mother's grandfather, or his mom's dad. I only know about this because I heard a very compelling interview on Public Radio just a few weeks ago, which made me look this band/artist up. The whole album is moving. I'm totally addicted. | |
