| Wow, this is one of the saddest songs I've ever heard.. but I can't tell if it's a happy sad or a really depressing sad. She's saying "I'm letting you down tonight", but it also has a happy tone to it, like she's finally getting to be with someone she loves. And I can't figure out the "You're just in time to save a life." Would love to hear other interpretations. | |

What a hauntingly sad song.. I think this song is about a girl who is in love with someone and he loves her but he doesn't want to be with her or he loves someone else, or he just doesn't want to be confined to a relationship. The first part is talking about her being depressed and in the second part when he is saying "Just let me run where I want to run.. Just let me love who I want" it is him saying he wants to be free, but he still loves her no matter what, maybe he just doesn't love her as much as she loves him. That's what I got from it. |

To me it sounds like she's saying And now through the haze I've been waiting so long That an hour has gone, away 'An hour' can symbolize a long time, or a lifetime, and can mean a lot of different things.. maybe she's waiting for him to come back but she realizes he never will, or that she's given up.. or how you look back and realize how fast time goes. It can also symbolize how we wait for something to make us happy but while you are waiting your life passes you by. It reminds me of a quote, " One day you might wake up from your sleep and realize that you lost the moon while counting stars." |

I think À tout à l'heure = the new Hakuna Matata Just from researching, a tout à l'heure roughly translates to "just now", so to me this song means just living in the moment.. being free & happy without thinking or worrying too much about anything "Break it off, break it off, when you see it glow and you're thinking it's ripened" "Cut it off, cut it off, when you see it grow and you're thinking it's bolting" I think those two lines mean when you start to think too much about something to stop & enjoy things for what they are.. basically, just to be happy. |
