A bit of AC/DC in that descending lead line from Hells Bells... Awesome rhythm and heaviness with this tune. |

Zap City is the king of all Cult songs. From this tune they got American Horse and Fire Woman, the melody line for American Horse, the intro for Fire Woman and both songs have a signature guitar line that is in Zap City. They've stolen from themselves in other places - the original version of Love Removal Machine has a guitar line in it. the outro, that was used for Sun King in the outro. The lead guitar melody line in Sun King is the exact same in Edie. The chord progression in Sweet Soul Sister is the same in If as well as True Believers. |

The 'Out Of Bounds' version is the original version, done during the Love tour.
The Manor Sessions/Peace version is the second.
The Electric version is the third, of course, and although I prefer the original version they really amped it up for Electric and it kicks big time. |

The original lyric, most likely tongue in cheek serious from Astbury, was something about a rather large girl living in a northern town always letting her knickers down. |

He says 'I'm the kind of dream that you've never seen'. Because he is the Sun King. |
