| A-Ha – Lifelines Lyrics | 2 years ago |
|
This is song that carries a mix of introspection and hopefulness in its lyrics and music. The lyrics touch on themes of change, uncertainty, and the complexities of life. The song seems to suggest that while life is full of challenges and twists, there are still lifelines that connect us to hope and possibilities. The phrase "I'll cross the Rubicon" can be interpreted as a willingness to face challenges head-on, even if they seem insurmountable. The combination of catchy melodies, electronic instrumentation, and Morten Harket's distinct vocals creates an engaging and memorable experience. "Lifelines" can be seen as a reflection on the journey of life itself, acknowledging the difficulties that come with it while emphasizing the importance of finding meaning and hope along the way. |

The lyrics of the song convey a complex mix of emotions centered around love, longing, and vulnerability. Yoann expresses deep affection and attachment to someone, but there's also a sense of sadness and perhaps even resignation. The repetition of the line "Where are you now?" suggests a yearning for the presence of the loved one. The lyrics also mention "And love is not what you're thinking of," which could imply that the singer's experience of love is different from conventional expectations. The line "It's enough, I saw the end" hints at an awareness of the impermanence of the relationship. Overall, I think this song portrays a bittersweet and introspective perspective on love. The song captures the complexity of emotions that can arise within a romantic relationship, including moments of joy, uncertainty, and a recognition of the transient nature of human connections. |

| Depeche Mode – Precious Lyrics | 2 years ago |
| This song seems to deal with themes of love, loss, and regret. The lyrics address the feeling of valuing something or someone only after it's been lost. The song suggests a quest for something precious that was previously overlooked or underestimated. It can be interpreted as a reflection on the importance of appreciating what we have while we still have it, rather than realizing its value only after it's gone. The song has a melancholic and contemplative atmosphere that reflects these emotions. | |

@[Psycho:37206]-Fox I don't aggree. If you pay attention to what the Russian guy says in the beggining (of the video): "Today I will tell you a story about a man who drowned in the cold waters of the ocean - after the loss of the one he loved. This story is about a man who died twice." You don't fo this far for friendships... this is a matter of the heart! My opinion! :) |

1st, huh! No matter what or where this subject's life takes him (regardless of how difficult the road ahead might be), there's a promise he/she will be back (or at least try to) |

Monika is known for being an artist who fought her way up the music industry alone, with no help. I think this song is about all the NOs she got when submitting demos and stuff! It's her saying she got there without "someone's" help! |

That intro... I mean DAT INTRO.... just sends me back to when I was 4, sitting on our T-0 apartment in Maputo - Mozambique, watching my father playing air-guitar, while listening to Jethro Tull. Which song, I cannot remember. The only thing I remember was me saying: "Pai, Pai, toca a música dos cavalos outra vez" (Daddy, daddy, play the horse song again). Today, 30 years later, I have a special USB pen, with ONLY this song on my car and I created a batch file on my PC, so that every time I switch it on, the song is played and all my problems are AWESOMED away. MUSE - the next best thing, after QUEEN! |
