I think this about thinking about one's past with deep nostalgia, whilst contemplating the present, and how little time he has left... |

Rated 0 I completely agree, what i found most interesting is the second verse, it appears that Mike (whether its biographical or not is open to opinion) - what a dumb bracket comment - missed his chance with someone he dearly loved, but he never managed to display or communicate his love for her "never had a crossword" and he is now bitter because of his missed opportunity with his ex-lover "beggining in I and ending in you, beginning in my eye, and ending with an X/ex"
This song is probably my favourite streets song, incredibly well written - you can envision the moment of time in which the narrator wrote this peace.
His desperation has got so bad, it has led him to searching relationship advice on google. A reference about the interlinking of modern technology and human emotion.

Your post has been sent to MI5 for investigation. I suggest you take it down before further action is taken. I have no alliance with any such organization, i have simply hacked into a database which has directed me to this specific comment. |

Brilliant song full of short quips by Mark Twain. One of mikes last boisterous songs with a hint of comedy, that not many people will notice, sadly.... |

Not the best song after the first hearing, but it delivers a 'nice and happy' message that humans are good after all, human nature causes to do things that may not be morally appropriate, but we aren't evil either. |

from what ive read and been told, this is the only song mike skinner didn't fully write himself, many of his friends have displayed their anger that they have not been accredited at all, as they wrote most of the song. Nonetheless, as mike says in 'street score', this song is simply setting a scene, of grey concrete not the sky and green trees. |
