| I've always applied this song to drag racing (quarter, quarter mile races). Maybe that's because it was on some racing games that I have played, like NASCAR Thunder 2004 or Need For Speed Underground. However, it's a great song. This has got to be my favorite song by this band. | |

| Wow, no comments on this song?! Hmm... Well I believe this is a great song by a great band. Not to mention a Christian Rock Band. I think that "Let Go" is definitely a song about a toxic relationship. One that neither the man nor woman can seem to end or "Let Go" and move on and are suffering from. Really great band. Great band and this has to be my favorite song by them. I believe its about a man that wasn't accepted by society because he was different. It also sounds like even religious people where he may have lived didn't accept him either because he was likely considered an "undesirable." Not to mention, maybe people only saw his outward appearance and didn't even attempt to get to know him. The man passed on and is remembered only by the few who did care for him. That may or may not be the correct interpretation, but that's the best I can think of. |

| I consider this song to be quite "epic" (I know that word is used a lot, but so WHAT)! Makes me think of the "underdog" in a fight standing up against a bully or someone considered to be "superior" and "defying" the odds by defeating this opponent. | |

| I'm actually listening to this song as I type! Great song! "See You Again" has a very positive meaning like the others above have mentioned. I also can't help but feel optimistic after listening to it. I believe it can be interpreted a few different ways based on the listener's choice. However, I think it's more about a loved one going away for a while and then coming back and how strong love can truly be. I suggest for others to see the official video for the song. One of my favorite songs by Carrie Underwood. She sure can sing! | |

I really like this song! Very awesome, remember hearing it on the radio. Amazing how "into it" the lead singer gets. That's pure emotion and love of music! Although I don't completely have an interpretation of this song, I do have a possible explanation of what it may mean. I think it is discussing how a guy and girl take notice of each other and maybe rather shy and in a crowd of people. The two want to talk to each other, but are nervous around the crowd of people and their eyes keep meeting. When the crowd leaves the two hang around and finally get to talk and enjoy each others company. Whether I am right or wrong, I really enjoy this song! Awesome!!!! |

I believe that this song is focused on someone who is struggling with depression. A traumatic event has occurred withing the individual's life (maybe the loss of a loved one) and he/she is struggling to recover. The depression is making the person feel like he/she is down and can't get back up, far away from the sun, which in my opinion, is symbolic of happiness. And by being "away from the sun" the person is sad and down. I think about everyone goes through at least one point in their life experiencing this. I know I have. I enjoy this song, even though it's sad and rather depressing. However, I think that music like this is out there for those who are going through hard times. Music helps express emotions and if it helps out others, it's two great causes that have been justified. I know music has helped me get through parts of my life! And I am very grateful for all the talented composers out there! Hard to believe 3 Doors Down has been around for so long! Great band. I still keep planning on listening to this band for the rest of my life! |

What a great song! I really like Sick Puppies. This song in my opinion, is discussing how some people don't fit in, even if they try hard to. I think it's about learning who you are and accepting it. If everyone where the same, then it'd be a boring world! I learned a long time ago that I was different from society. I never felt that I fit in that well in high school. I was a bit of a loner, although I had some friends. I didn't consider myself a loser and tried not to listen to what others said. People can be so mean around others who stand out, the people who try to do what's right often are mocked and taken advantage of. I have my beliefs and have been called a "unique individual" a few times in my life. Great song, full of meaning. I like when people stand up for the odd one out. Haha no pun intended. Now I look back and am proud that I didn't conform to what the others did just because it was the "cool" thing to do. Being yourself and believing in yourself is what I think this song is trying to say. |

First off, I'd like to say that this a really good song. Full of emotion. I enjoy listening to it. I like how the singer goes from a calm, placid voice, to all out yelling. This puts emphasis on emotions, since clearly this song is full of emotion. I love the way this song uses the acoustic guitar, just awesome! I know a lot of people are talking about the "Free Hugs" thing and all, but I believe the song can be interpreted in a different way. I sense that it can applied to a relationship that a guy went through where the girl ended it, but still had feelings for the guy. The guy is still torn up over her and she may have started seeing other guys and that hurts this first guy I spoke of. Then when the relationships this girl has with these other guys goes sour, she comes "running with scarred heart out in hand" back to this guy. This guy hopes she will stay with him this time, but she doesn't, almost like she goes to him for emotional stability and recovery (almost like a rebound), then they may have another argument or disagreement and she leaves again, and goes onto another guy. The guy is still hurt over this and feels angry and used, but also feels like he can't move on from her, because he feels like if she would just give him a chance, they would be great together, despite their differences and past. However, the girl won't and the guy feels down, waiting to hear from her again ("hours slide and days go by til you decide to come"). Now that's just my opinion and I am not saying all women are like that. It's just a simple explanation and that's what I relate the song to. |

I really like this song! Love listening to it, especially the epic entrance, when it starts out slow and changes to a strong and aggressive instrumental part. I've always associated this song with the sacrifices that soldiers make serving their countries. However it can be applied to firefighters, policeman, paramedics, and all the other public safety workers who ensure the well being of everyone. I think in a way, that's who this song is for and what it's about. But then again songs can be interpreted and applied many different ways. However, this a great song, hard to believe it's over ten years old now! Still listening to it though, along with others I hope. I think the main focus of this song though, is stating that selflessness is important, especially since it can something very hard to try to do, given certain circumstances. Making personal sacrifices to help others is a very honorable and humble thing to do and strive for. I really enjoy this song! |

First off, I'd like to say that this song is very moving. It's a sad song, but full of awesome instrumental moments and great singing. I think it goes without saying that this song is about a relationship that has gone sour. It sounds like a couple who have tried many times to make it work, but for whatever reason(s), it simply has no hope and is destined to fail. Furthermore, it sounds like the lyrics are putting emphasis on how the two have changed hence the opening part that states "I'm sorry for the demon I've become. You should be sorry for the angel you are not." The song seems to mainly focus on the downward spiral some have after a bad break up and how tough it can be to move on. This song has helped me get through some rather difficult times when I really wanted a relationship to work out, but it didn't. The emotional pain can be almost unbearable, depending on the circumstances. Life goes on and sometimes, one is forced to "walk away" while that individual is still able to. That's just my opinion about what this song means though. Great song. Great band, bottom line. |

| Let me just say that I think Five Finger Death Punch took song and "souped" it up with modern methods. Very cool song. The lead singer's voice travels all over the vocal spectrum covering the "high's and low's." I think this band has some awesome talent. Probably my second or third favorite song by them. Pure awesomeness that's easy on the ears. | |

| In my opinion, this song is from the perspective of a soldier who is "far from home." When I say "far from home," I mean that it can be either a physical, mental, or emotional detachment that the person is feeling and suffering from. Although I have never served and can only imagine what a soldier may go through, these lyrics have deep meaning behind them. I have heard about instances when a soldier returns home and still feels distant from his/her loved ones. War takes a toll on everything and everyone. That's why it's great to see that this band writes awesome songs like this. I think this is a very talented band and this is one of my favorite songs by them. I also like the version with the acoustic guitar more versus the one that is all electric. Just my liking though. Two thumbs way up. | |
