| For me this song is about a man who loves a woman and for some reason she has to leave. Even though he would do everything in his power for her to stay, he admits that he knows she will eventually go. Mike Scott's lyrics never fail to amaze me and this song, though sad, communicates the emotions he is feeling so beautifully. Definitely one of my favourite songs of all time. | |
