Starting from the allusion of being tied to a chair I think of Samson & Delilah from the Book of Judges in which Samson is betrayed by Delilah when she turns him over to his enemies.
With that in mind I take the song to be about how the singer gives in to the enemies bc there is nothing else for him to gain or lose since his only love doesn’t love him. He’s telling her to draw her “swords” not sword singular but plural. And take him out “shoot me to the ground” |
