The song works perfectly in the clip. Like everyone, Mel seems as the song intends, self sufficiently indifferent, unreachable, but wanted more than anything on earth. Mark just has this wonderful rhythm as for James, well his eyes closed make him more distant but perhaps closer to Mel...his bass is just outstandingly superb. Alasdair sings well as always. Perhaps if Mel had sung alongside Alasdair on some other cojoined tracks there could of been a wider groove. No bother I do like what they produced. |
