| I think he could be referring to a prostitute when he sings about town and all the spots you're working for. Can you feel the leeches bite this could be her punters or could be the gossips. My thinking is he has fallen for a girl and there are rumours/lies she could be a prostitute or maybe has been one and she has said she won't do it any more and he can't trust her words. Whatever the meaning it is a class song and I do not tire of hearing it. | |
