I love this song so much. It's been on repeat today and yesterday. I think this song is about being afraid of something new. This girl's been so sad, it's only thing she knows, and now it seems that she's going to be happy and it's surreal for her to let go of all the negativity she's always had to endure. I guess you can interpret it as being afraid of a new and loving relationship, whether it be platonic or romantic.
On the other hand, however, judging solely based on the chorus, it's about being really sad all the time - which is exactly how I'm feeling right now. The latter part of my explanation resonates more for me. |
