I think this song is direct. Everyone is destined to die one day. No matter what you do and how much you try, you can't run away and escape death. The poets rock! Best band ever! To me, this song is about God. He comes to our aid during our worst times and gives us hope and strength and fights with us side by side. But he always does so through someone.
