I think in this song there is a drunk girl, or maybe a girl that just wants him because he's famous who's approaching him to have sex, but he doesn't want to "you know you lack originality I don't drop my pants that easily so baby, just get away from me". He's saying that all the girls dream of him and she's not going to get him that easily, and he's not stupid enough to fall for her. |

I'm not really sure about this but I think he's saying that he's seen this girls true face and he never knew that everything she was saying was just a lie. By saying, "Seeing everyone's true face Makes me wish they would keep their masks on Cause I don't wanna know, who you really are I thought you would have learned your lesson by now" he's saying that he liked her better when she was pretending to be someone else. When he says, "You and I will never be the same, You say you try, but you never change You can hide, and say you're not to blame I thought you have learned your lesson by now" he's saying that she can try and beg him to come back and say she'll change and become someone else but he knows that it's just another lie and they can never be with each other. |

I think he's saying that people have no respect for music any more and just say crap about what they don't like. When he says that they're voices claw at his ears all day, it seems like people are saying harsh things to hurt them. When he says "I, I can see right through you... Go take your opinion with you Cause I dont want to hear it Go take your decision with you Cause I dont need to hear them " he might be saying that he doesn't care what they have to say because it only matters to them and doesn't hurt him anymore. He's saying that this is who he is, this is what he does and he doesn't care if they don't like it. |

I think that thing about it being about God is pretty deep
When I first heard it, I thought it was about a girl who was saying that he was all she would ever need and saying that she loved him and they could be together forever, blah, blah blah. Then she never held to her promises and just let him down by trying to change him, and he's telling her that she's not loyal to him, and doesn't love him like she said. He's saying that he is who he is and she can't change him.
Well that's what I thought, but the God thing is a lot more meaningful :) |

I think he's saying that maybe he's not perfect, and maybe his parents and family are trying to change him and fix him or, rescue him, but he doesn't want to be rescued. He's happy being who he is and he doesn't want to change because that's what other people want. "It's not visible but we're perfectly comfortable here" is saying that maybe other people can't see it, but he's happy where he is and who he is and he doesn't need them trying to fix what isn't broken. |

I think he's saying that he met this girl and basically wanted her to go back to his house so they could have sex. Pretty obvious. But the part about clenched hands is maybe saying that she's trying to resist and pretend like she doesn't want to go, but she's giving herself away because it's obvious she wants to go. He's asking her over and over again, trying to get her to say yes, and she's smiling and pretending to be innocent when they both know that she's not. |

This song is about being high, with Santa, I think. He says "Can you steer your sleigh all right? Are you sure you're good to fly tonight" Which is kinda like what you say to someone when they're drunk, but before that he says, "And made extra special cookies for you" which reminds me of making extra special brownies and they also say, "Rudolf you know, your nose, is as red as his eyes" and red eyes totally go with being high. So it seems like Santa is high, and that is a reasonable guess when it comes to Breathe Carolina, because they believe in legalizing marijuana and all that. It's definitely the best song on the album cause it lighthearted and not all whiny, "I'm alone on Christmas, blah, blah, blah" like the rest of them. (: |

I think this is about a guy just using a girl for sex and not really thinking it's a big deal, and the girl lying to her friends and saying that they really care about each other, even if she knows they don't love each other or anything. "I told you that I wanted nothing more" is him saying that he didn't want anything other then sex. When he says, "did you really think i meant every word i said? When we're lying in your bed, head-to-head" He's saying that he shouldn't really be listening to what he's saying, because he's just saying it to get in her pants basically. It's kinda sad, but he points out in the beginning that he didn't want a relationship. |

I think this song is basically him saying that he doesn't care and he'll do what he wants and if you're doing what he wants too, he's cool with that. As in, if you want to have sex with him, he doesn't care what your name is. He's saying that they aren't going to last forever and you just have to do what feels right at the time. Basically, live in the moment.

I thought that in the booklet it said that part of this song, the end, was an apology to someone? I'm not exactly sure, but I think it was like they got high and he did something and at the end, he's just saying he's sorry to whoever he hurt. Either way, it's a really good song. |

This song is about the legalization of marijuana (or at least that's what it says in the digital booklet). "This is my last chance to ask for permission, this condition can't be fixed with a prescription" is saying that they're not going to ask to use it anymore and I think the part about a prescription has to do with the use of medical marijuana, but I'm not completely sure.
It's cool cause they're fighting for something they believe in, also, this song is pretty cool :D |
