| Coldplay – The Escapist Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Maybe the song is about dreaming about how you can escape death. You dream about it near the end, how you can escape what's coming. | |
| The Living End – Astoria Paranoia Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I think it's just a song about someone feeling paranoid about something in general, not necessarily someone who has a mental illness. They're so caught up in their fear and paranoia that they feel as if they've glazed over (maybe that the 'ghost of paranoia' has covered their vision) and can't feel everything as sharply as everyone else does, so they feel isolated. | |

"And if your heart should melt away No matter, I'll find you anyway Until you look and find a love who doubles As someone who'll understand your troubles" I love that verse. My absolute favourite verse. (: |

| Death Cab for Cutie – You Are a Tourist Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
"Because when you find yourself the villain in the story you have written It's plain to see That sometimes the best intentions are in need of redemptions" I think its about thinking you've done the right thing by others and then later realising you were wrong and need to try to fix things. Because it's sort of suggesting that you've lost your way, not realising you were becoming the villain and then once you do, having to make the wrongs become right again. |

| I agree with you, marjon, I think she locks herself up, and now he's trying to reassure her that he'll protect her when she's ready to face the world. | |
