| Dottie Rambo – If That Isn't Love Lyrics | 14 years ago |

One of my favourite songs. It's basically saying, If what Jesus did Isn't Love then everything else isn't what it seems to be. As this proves to be more fact than anything else. As the scripture saith, (John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends) ...can't find a greater expression of Love than that. Fave line: Even in death He remembered The thief hanging by His side He spoke with love and compassion Then He took him to paradise |

| John Mark McMillan – How He Loves Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
This song was written for a friend, his youth leader, who was heard praying (I suppose out of frustration in reaching his young people), that he would give his life today if it would shake the youth of the nation, and later that night he died in a car accident. The song is about how powerful God Love is toward us (personally, I believe in his crucifixion). "That if Grace is an ocean then we are all sinking". I Believe the Lyrics goes: [Whispered]: Well, I thought about You the day Stephen died and You met me between my breaking I know that I still love You, God, despite the agony "CAUSE HE KNEW" to tell me You're cruel But if Stephen could sing, he'd say it's not true, cause "YOU CAME". I personally like it because it displays the Love of God through the youth leader, creating the analogy with the Love of God for us. If the Love of a person can be this powerful, you can just imagine the direct Love of God is so much more ...though it is the Love of God! Fave line: I don't have time to maintain these regrets when I think about the way, that he loves us. |

| Flyleaf – Cassie Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| The song is about Cassie Bernall, but it can also apply to any situation where you have to stand for the right cause, even if it cost you your life. This is also a depiciton of "turning the other cheek". Taking that step, knowing you will be opposed. | |
| John Hiatt – Have a Little Faith in Me Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
He's encouraging, and requesting her to have a litle faith in him: "Well I've been loving you for such a long time, girl Expecting nothing in return Just for you to have a little faith in me" I personally like this song, because it tells you what's needed to make any relationship work, whether love life, or social life. And though the song doesn't imply it, but it's frustrating when people only expect you to fail. We should be able to hope for the best in others, and know that others expect the best from us, while leaving room for failure, and without unrealistic expectation. |

| Jonas Brothers – I Am What I Am Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I perceive this is about Joe, with his free-spirit nature, though anyone can relate to it. It's about someone being told that something is wrong with them, or that they are not good enough, and they need to be someone other than who they are. It doesn't have anything to do with bad habit, or right or wrong, but their personality, yet they are resented for it. Probably being falsely criticise for being boastful, or arrogant, when the person is probably just being grateful. The song maybe directed at one person, or an eveyday challenge of being accepted for who you are. However, they are able to stand by knowing exactly who they are... Fave lines: I know what I'm not, I'm not the type of guy That doesn't know how good he's got it Because I can't turn back, I'm right on track, And if you think you know, Well, then you better check your facts, cause |
