Have a Little Faith in Me Lyrics

When the road gets dark
And you can no longer see
Just let my love throw a spark
And have a little faith in me

And when the tears you cry
Are all you can believe
Just give these loving arms a try, baby
And have a little faith in me

And have a little faith in me
And have a little faith in me
And have a little faith in me
And have a little faith in me

When your secret heart
Cannot speak so easily
Come here darling, from a whisper start
To have a little faith in me

And when your back's against the wall
Just turn around and you, you will see
I will catch you, I will catch your fall, baby
Just have a little faith in me

And have a little faith in me
And have a little faith in me
And have a little faith in me
And have a little faith in me

Well I've been loving you for such a long time, girl
Expecting nothing in return
Just for you to have a little faith in me
You see time, time is our friend
'Cause for us there is no end
And all you got to do is have a little faith in me

I said, I will hold you up
I will hold you up
Your love will give me strength enough
So have a little faith in me

I said hey,
All you got to do for me girl is have a little bit of faith in me
I said hey

There isn't a better lovesong written. Shows that one has to believe in the other, and the power of that is the essence of love

I love love songs that aren't cheesy. This one is the epitome of a perfect love song - no cheesy metaphors, just love how it is. This was playing in the Dawson's Creek finale, when Pacey kissed Joey when they were dancing at Gale's wedding, right before Jen passed out.

I'm in the process of adopting my 2 year old grand niece, and this is a song I sing to her at night.

So much bagage at such a young age, this song helps me help her to understand that no matter how the adults in her life have left her, I will always be there for her and will always love her.

This song struck me from the first note. It's a beautiful song; it's so full even though there is only a piano and a voice. I love the piano, it's not overly complicated, but sets the perfect tone. The lyrics aren't sappy, nor are they overly complex, but they convey the feeling and emotion of the song superbly.

All you have to do is have a little faith.
