This song is so sweet. He's trying to explain that he really likes/lives this gal but he is afraid to let himself fall in love with her because then he'll become "putty". =). He's completely in love with everything about her.... He's having a hard time deciding if it is "worth" risking the potential "hurt".... I'm sure alot of men feel this way...afraid to get hurt, like if it doesn't work out. "If I fall, can you let me down easy If I leave my heart with you tonight Will you promise me that you're gonna treat it right" But women feel like this too :) Great lyrics n song. Very heartfelt. I <3 this song... Someone recently called me.... Put them in my heart, cherished/locked them away... I was doing well and then this person contacts me agian... Heartache all over again. I don't know what this person wants from me!! :( I had to say goodbye again; done letting them use, tease, n throw my heart around. Sometimes "Goodbye, I <3 u forever in silence." is the only option. Unfortunately, sometimes people let fear stop them from doing/trying things....and will never find happiness. I pray for this person. |

I completely agree. I think we gave all felt this way. iKnow from my own experience there will always be that someone special and sometimes it's hard to explain "why". I don't think he I necessarily seeing someone seriously in theis "song" he is just finding meaningless people/situation to fill the empty space but it isn't working. :( I can relate to this song... Well, iThink he was just stating how this song relates to him. I can kind of relate too. I really like/care about someone and sometimes I wonder if he/she feels like this because it's painful when u can't "have" someone u desire. Whether it is a circumstance like he stated or because maybe they don't feel the same way... Sometimes/maybe it's easier to just walk away and to try to forget. This is a great song...great band. That's what so great about songs/lyrics/music; everyone can interpret how it relates to them and to their own situation. |
