Yes I agree with everyone here. Its about the "Religious" Churches who condemn people. Also Churches who just want peoples money. Also Churches who just do their own things, and do go out to save the lost. These people think they are better than everyone else, however they themselves are actually worst off than a sinner who doesn't yet know God. The perfect set of people to compare these "religious" people with is the High Priests that Jesus Pissed off every day he lived. When Jesus healed the sick on sabbath the "Religious" people condemned him. Jesus saved the adulterer from the "Religious" people about to stone her. The only time it is recorded of Jesus Himself being mad is when he saw the crowd "Selling" goods in the temple, he threw tables everywhere and made a whip and lashed it out at them. "Religious" People are not of God, and as far as Corrupt Pastors and Leaders. It says in Galatians 1:8 and 1:9 about what happens to them. It also says in revelation that God has a "Special" place in Hell for these leaders. They will recieve the worst of the worst Hell has to offer. |

I agree with adamburnsred. However "Findme" said something totally wrong. "What's done is done"- sin can't be reversed. Sin CAN BE reversed. This was Why Jesus Died on the Cross. To be forgiven of sin. |

I agree with Deftone. What some of you need to realise is that the word "Religion" doesn't apply to all christians. As a matter of fact the Biggest ENEMY of Religion Was Jesus Christ. Think about it.. who did he make mad more than anyone during his life? He angered those who followed The Old Testament Religious Law. That is exactly why they crucified him. "In here no one can find them. In here no one can fill them with filth" This is standard religion. They keep themselves protected in their church walls while the world dies. These people wont go out and Do their best to save the lost. They just sit comfortably behind their churches. No "Religious" Person can go out and save the metal era, the atheists, the devil worshipers. That's why we need bands like August Burns Red and Man of Sorrows, to reach those that Religious People will not go after. So yes you have "Religious" people who condemn the lost, and then you have Christians who actually go out to save the lost. So my interpretation to this song is Religious people blind themselves from the Light.Cramming down people throats that God is vengeful and wrathful. However God is Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, and The Light. |
