@[finnaqua:8091] It's interesting to see that interpretation as mine was completely different. Probably because of my own situation I interpreted it as the end of a relationship and finding comfort and a sense of worth in oneself. Again, possibly because of my own situation I see this theme running through the entirety of 'Froot' as an album. |

What really gets me on this track is how very fragile she sounds; I think that's why this song stick with me a lot more even though I don't relate to it as much as I might others. Really want to see her live, I can imagine it would be a fantastic experience. |

My grandmother recently passed away and in the years preceding her death she suffered from dementia. At her funeral I was struck by what an amazing woman she had been before the dementia and when I listen to this song I get that feeling again, especially the end of the song, because that is unfortunately how I most remember my grandmother. To me, this song is about the loss of a personality that once shone brightly, and it's heartbreaking. |
