| The Smiths – How Soon Is Now? Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| OMG now this makes so much sense now! And it's exactly how I've been feeling like for a long time! (and still feel sometimes...) :'( | |
| Madonna – Fighting Spirit Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
This song is an advice to all the people that got their hearts broken. Move on and keep searching for love, because if you look for it, you'll find it and you'll begin to love again! "Don't let it get you down Keep the fighting spirit and turn your head around Don't let it take you in Keep the fighting spirit and you'll begin again" |

| Madonna – Bye Bye Baby Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
This song is the contrapart to Waiting/Justify My Love! She keeps on waiting for someone who tells her that he loves her, and thinks of her, but is never around. So she tells him that it's over! "Bye Bye Baby it's your turn to cry, that's why it's time to say goodbye[...]" She tells him that's it's over and it's his fault so now he'll have to cry when he finds out that she's gone, because he "FUCKED IT UP"! |

| Madonna – Beautiful Killer Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| This song basically talks about a sexually submissive woman, who's in love with someone who seems to be untouchable and mysterious. | |
| Madonna – Best Friend Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
This song is basically about letting someone go who was once very close to you and dealing with the end of that relationship. The verses talk about missing this person ("I miss your brain..."), while the chorus talks about not having any regrets about the end of the relationship, but knowing that you lost someone who meant a lot to you. ("Still I have no regrets [...] but I feel like I lost my very best friend.") During the bridge she talks about how she will always remember that person and how he will always be a part of her life, eventhough his "picture is off her wall". For now she still has to deal with the end of the relationship ("but I'm still waiting for your call"). At some point she talks about how he wrote her poetry, while at the end she "puts away his letters" but still "saved the best ones". She's torn between sadness and confidence. She says she doesn't want to pretend that she isn't sad, because she knows that she lost her "best frend". |

| Madonna – I'm Addicted Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
Have you ever felt so crazy about someone that only hearing his/her name was already enough for you to go insane? Well, that's what this song's about! It's about someone who is literally so addicted to someone, that his/her love has the same effects on this person like a drug. "I need this exchange I don't care if you think that I'm strange Something happens to me when I hear your voice Something happens to me and I have no choice" This part shows that this person needs his/her lover to go on (like a drug addict) and only feels strong enough to dance/do crazy things with him/her around as shown in the following part. "I need to hear your name Everything feels so strange I'm willing to take this chance I need to dance" The ending "MDMA, MDNA" shows the exchange of the lovers name with the name of a drug, in order to show that love can be as effective as drugs. |

| Madonna – I'm A Sinner Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I think the overall message of this song is Madonna not being ashamed of her own "sins". She's unstoppable "Like the storm I burn through everything" and not even the saints can catch her for her sins. In the end we're all sinners and have done something "sinful" in our lives; There are people who deny it and people, like Madonna, who admit it. | |
| Madonna – Paradise (Not for Me) Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I think it's somehow about how her Mother's death affected her and made her so ambitious to become famous and successful. She was young then and didn't realize that the world she thought was a "paradise" was nothing, but an illusion and that she doesn't actually belong there. The line, "I've been so high, I've been so down", talks about her ups and downs in her personal life and her life as a superstar. The light she's seeing at the end of the song is her enlightenment. | |
| Madonna – Latte Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| The song's not called "Latte" it's called "Pala Tute"! | |
| Madonna – Words Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I wonder why nobody commented on this song... In my eyes, this song should have been a single. It's musically great, lyrically great! The video would have been awesome! It has everything a hit needs to have! But I'd really appreciate if someone could post a good analysis of that song though |

| Madonna – Angel Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Madonna commented that the song was about a girl, who was "in depression over something. An angel appeared and healed her soul, making her fall madly in love with Him." She also said that this was something she felt when she was young. | |
