Panic! at the Disco – When the Day Met the Night Lyrics 14 years ago
This song is obviously about Anju and Kafei, in the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

"When the moon fell in love with the sun
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night"

Their wedding masks were of the sun and the moon. Kafei, being male (just like the sun in the song), was the sun, with Anju being the moon. They fell in love, and then, they finally reunite just before the moon falls. If you save the world, the sky is all sunrise-y and gold-looking, and even if you reunite them but don't try to save the world, everything is engulfed in flames anyway, and it all looks pretty golden.

"When the sun found the moon
She was drinking tea in a garden
Under the green umbrella trees
In the middle of summer"

You never really find out the exact story of how they met (all it says is that they were friends as children), so yeah. Not much to say about this stanza.

"When the moon found the sun
He looked like he was barely hanging on
But her eyes saved his life
In the middle of summer"

When Anju and Kafei are reunited, Kafei shows up right before the beginning of the apocalypse, looking bedraggled, having just run there from the desert which, you know, would be pretty far away. So he probably would have been barely hanging on.

"Well, he was just hanging around
Then he fell in love
And he didn't know how
But he couldn't get out
Just hanging around
Then he fell in love"

Self explanatory.

The rest of the album, if you listen closely, could actually be applied almost entirely to different parts of the game. I think the only song we found that didn't really fit was Pas de Cheval.
Sorry if this doesn't make any sense. My brother and I came up with it one day just to, you know, have a laugh. If you haven't played the game, I highly recommend doing so. It's actually quite nice. Very emotional and such.

The Scene Aesthetic – Humans Lyrics 15 years ago
I don't know anything about it being about a sister or eating disorders or anything, this is just my personal opinion. It sounds like it might be about someone suffering from depression?

"I know you can fight this" It's a struggle.

"When in time will come when you will realize just how special you are. There's not enough hate in the
world to bring you down" Trying to show her how much she means.

"You cover it up, but the pain never stops" A lot of times, people are ashamed of themselves and everything so they cover it up and try to act normal, etc, I can't really explain =p

"There is a soul starving for some affection, been waiting for years and the time passes by, all you ever wanted was to fit in" When you're depressed, you feel like you're not really especially loved or cared about and on the outside.

"You're the most beautiful girl in the world and I wanted you to know" reassuarance about herself.

"You're constantly waiting for life to start and for love to surround it, if you'd only look right by your side, you'd find that it never had left you" Like I said, feeling unloved when you actually are.

"You've been through so much and seen so many things through your eyes and I wish you could just see, if it were up to me I would construct a key to your heart and finally set you free" They wants to help.

"You can call me, you've got no reason to hide. You're so lovely, built with a beautiful mind" Trying to show her how loved she actually is and that they can help.

So there you go. My most likely incorrect (but you've got to admit, it's thorough) interpretation of the song Humans by The Scene Aesthetic. Oh and sorry if these aren't the right lyrics to the current version. I have the version from their yet-to-be-realeased album Brother... and no I didn't get it illegally, they had it free on their PureVolume page =p

Adam Lambert – Whataya Want From Me Lyrics 15 years ago
I don't know if this is right or not, but I was listening to it the other day in the car (REALLY listening...) and this meaning/interpretation hit me...

"Yeah, it's plain to see, baby you're beautiful
And there's nothing wrong with you
It's me, I'm a freak
But thanks for loving me, 'cause you're doing it perfectly"

Maybe it's about a girl who loves him ("you're beautiful", "thanks for loving me") but he can't love her back. Because, well, he's gay. And then he's insulting himself ("I'm a freak") because of it. I guess. I don't know, that's just what I got from it.
