This song isnt just about a friend self-harming, its actually about an atempted suicide, its pretty clear in the lyrics. Obviously about a girl too, but I like this song cos its very sweet. It can be hard for guys to express to their friends how much they mean to them so its cool Dave managed to tackle that issue its such a lyrically good way. My fav line is 'ive known you so long I love you like a brother'. I wondered wether it was about one of his band mates tho I have no evidence other than its obviously about someone very close to him

I dont think this song is about a break up, because he says 'you were my enemy now your my friend'. To me it more sounds like when you fall for someone you started off hating and by the end of the song they are together 'im holding you holding you close to me you are my angel'. The song as well seems like the 'chase' of getting someone, he obviously had to work hard as they were 'enemies but now your my friend'. So for me it is a song about 2 people hating each other, he falls in love with her and finally after chasing her for ages she falls for him too

InMe – Myths and Photographs Lyrics

To me this song is about the media, particularly the music press. Myths being the article thats written and photographs being the picture that usually acompanys such an article. He says 'your not a strong man' because the media follow whatever is cool at the time rather than thinking for themselves. 'take a cheap shot I dont give a shit' refers to how media always are putting people down and this 'band of brothers' is obviosly a reference to InMe, who for this album literally had brothers in it and its defiance about it cos they 'roll round with it'. Finally what makes it seem more about the media than a particular person he has 'jiff' with is that he says 'you never knew me anyway' like how can you even comment on me!
