Amazing song. A little girl's mother (the singer/narrator) just KNOWS there is a dead body in her daughters bedroom, but she dismisses it because, hey, little girls can't kill, right? But her daughter did kill someone. In fact, she's quite proud of her murder. "heck of a poise", indeed. |

I completely agree with Katatonia. However, I don't think she wished to haunt her killer or to finish up her morning run. She asked to become a goddess. Hence the music video. |

I always thought it was about the "normal goths"/emos. The Birthday Massacre seems to be a perky goth band. The normal goths/emos always bemoan their life and complain and bitch to anyone who'll listen. We're only listening because it's entertainment to us. We can see it, but they can't: their lives are perfectly FINE. |
