Permission is a song about Sixx"s addiction, obviously. He is in the process of getting clean, in my eyes, during this song... "All my devils are free at last, and all my secrets revealed"- He wrote "The Heroin Diaries" and everyone who read, and weighed in throughout the story knows his secrets. "And your permission is all I need to heal"- HEROIN is who he is asking for permission to heal. Not God, because at that point in his life, he didn't believe in a god |
