this is my favourite Eminem song so far. this song has 3 meanings. 1)it's about Michigan (home state man) and how we're all in a slump in this state. Eminem's just sayin don't let anyone tell you you're not beautiful, anyone who says that they can just go f*** themselves. 2)it's about Eminem's own issues with drug use. he's just saying (quite clearly) i'm in a bad spot and i'm clawing my way out. 3)what he's trying to say to anyone listening. he's saying be who you are, don't let a d*** soul say their's something wrong with being you.
this song has some personal stake for me. at various points in my life i would've leveled with Marshal. i've been in some slumps; my dad's car accident, when i busted my arm, and right now since my folks split up. (i'm 16) also my folks just plain don't like the who i'm deciding to be at times. wether it's my choices for a career, higher education, and just plain my views on social and political stuff. i'm just thinking don't say i'm not good. |

i'm not a big fan of Ke$ha but this about the only song of hers i actually like (probably because it's the cleanest bit of work hers that i've heard) i'd say it's pretty self explanitory the man's love is her drug. though i think we all can assume that's not her only drug. |

i heard this song when i downloaded the Dark Horse album on to my iPod a few months ago, and i gotta say the miniute i heard i was surprised. cause i assumed knowing the band it's more about doing drugs than not doing them, but kinda like this. it may be a song against drug use per say but it's just saying if you can't control yourself when you start this behavior your screwing yourself. if you can't keep from stopping, it's gonna be everything to you, and that's not right. |

before anyone yells religous nut job i encourage you to think about this songs lyrics. i honestly this song is spiritual in meaning, i'm not saying it's about christianity or islam or buhddism (or however the heck it's spelled) i'm just saying it's man saying to a higher power "am i worth saving?" and that if so "teach me wrong from right and i'll show you what i can be" just saying tell what i need to do and i'll show that i can go beyond that. it's just saying God if you give me a shot i won't let you down. |

this song is very deep, the man speaks of his deceased wife. he says he misses his freind because in a real marrirage your Wife or Husband is your best freind. i can't personally relate to this song cause i've never been in love and losted someone. but i know that it's horrible to lose someone you love. man, i wish i had a girlfreind. |

i checked this song out a few years back and i loved it right away. it stands with my views on the military in general. it also makes me feel blessed to know that folks like the National Gaurd are out in the in Irag and Afganistan fighting against terrorism and to know that their also here on call if the event of natural disaster or another terrorist attack like 9/11, so 3DD you guys rock and God Bless the United States Military the Protectors of Freedom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

i think misunderstanding this, it's a dark song but the idea (in my interpretation anyways) is just saying God why have you forsaken, because that's how you feel. there are times as Christians we feel like God isn't there for you, when he really is. it's basically saying God Forgives but YOU don't. |

i read an article on Wikipedia it's an old freind Brad Arnold had who became addicted to Cocaine.
that's kinda the way it struck me, basically some dude who's an absolute loser. no one cares for him, so channels frustration inward becoming a drug adict. and in the song he's expressing shame at this,
"Breathe in right away, Nothing seems to fill this place, I need this every time" and people are noticing, so they're thinking he's doing this just for the heck of it. but he's saying step off.
"So take your lies get off my case" and thinking to himself that someday he'll find the one he's dreaming of, and the feeling she gives him will overpower his desire for the drug. and he'll be able to leave that crap he went through behind. "Someday I will find a love That flows through me like this This will fall away" and he's also thinking that what drove him to the drugs in the first place were those people who despise him. "You're getting closer to pushing me Off of life's little edge Cause I'm a loser And sooner or later You know I'll be dead You�re getting closer, You're holding the rope, I'm taking the fall Cause I'm a loser, I'm a loser, yeah"
