| Blue Öyster Cult – Don't Fear The Reaper Lyrics | 12 years ago |

Don't fear the Grim Reaper, who will come to take you away to live in eternity. It sounds like the lyricist is trying to comfort himself, or someone else, after someone close took their own life. |

| He discusses the origin of the song in a youtube video: http://tinyurl.com/lawyersgunsandmoney. His lawyer was not involved in creating the song at all. | |

This is a key line in the song. As most replies indicate, not only does it indicate that the enemy, who we learned were also sharp as knives, could get intel on the incoming force, but it also implies that they laid in wait. Probably hinting at an ambush. And of course, the soldiers would all go down together. They started out all gung-ho, but this line is one of the clues that this song has an even sadder ending than is generally believed. |

| Billy Joel – Movin' Out (Anthony's Song) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| What does it mean to 'never argue with a crazy mind'? Is he saying you shouldn't argue with someone who is crazy, or you shouldn't argue when you're crazy? | |

@panamaniak: I didn't mean for that to sound as rude as it might on the internet. It should be a friendly question, with a smile after "smartypants" :D The more serious question: So does it mean that everyone should have some kind of faith? Should people cleanse themselves of their wrongs? Or does it mean that people should cleanse themselves by confessing (like Catholics do)? |

@Susan: This is my favorite of their songs, too. @panamaniak: OK, smartypants, what's the "obvious" meaning? Are they simply saying that everyone should have some kind of faith? |
