I think this is a song about two brother who went off to fight in WWII and never came back. Pretty literal, though it also strongly implied death is not The End, when they meet God they'll be right at each other's side. |

This song is something I can relate to, because anytime I like a girl all I do is over-think every possibility on my one track mind. In the end, waste of time every time. |

Why would God want you to do sometihng wrong? That sounds like the most oxy-moronic thing I've heard this side of the century. (and you switched from "you feel is wrong" to "you think is right; feel/think two very different things) What else is there in life other than making someone happy? Whether it be God (being the Creator of the universe, it is pretty big to make Him happy), yourself, you family, friends, or even strangers, if you aren't making someone happy, you're just meaninglessly interacting with the inanimate. |

Restricted to one area only? Way to kill freedom of religion and speech. And of course church is freaky; if you're eyes were opened to a whole other world and reality then you may be a little freaked out. |

They are not attacking for beinging different than them (straw man fallacy). When music like Manson's contains the.... stuff... it does, it has mental and spiritual consequenses. Reliant K is addressing said consequenses. It doesn't help that Manson himself admitted these are the results he is trying to produce. |

Are you impling that punk is more scientific than metal, hmmmm? :) I'm very much a fan of logical and scientific thinking, but for me at least such thinking has brought me closer to God. "A little science estranges a man from God. A lot of science brings him back" - Francis Bacon

@ big leagues now, let me tell you some logical fallacies you're useing with you're argument: Ad Hominem, attacking the person, not the argument. It is my least favorite and most shameful fallacy to use, so please stop. Penguin lover's age or "brainwashing" doesn't render her argument automaticly false. And then you go and attack her parents.... Black and White Fallacy, making it seem like like there are only two possibilities. You said she is so adament she must be brainwashed. What? Are you saying that we must only half-believe stuff or we are brain-washed? Ad Vercundium, Appeal to Authority: Just because Obama did that does not justify it. I think he has no right to come it and do that and it lowers my opinion of him even more. (That last part was my opinion, not a logical fallacy) And finnaly, Straw Man, twisting your opponent's words to make it seem like something else. Kay said "I'm not brainwashed PERIOD I'm not Calthlic. Two different statments; you are the first one who said anything about brainwashed Cathlics. These fallacies are not tools to be used in an argument, if you are caught, it makes you look pretty bad. Just some advice. |

He's fighting because there's a war waging around us. To not fight is be defeted and held down by our oppressors. We would not be able to dream under that oppression. And yes, this war is a spirtual war. |

@Doug9las6 Sorry for "imposing" like this, but it doesn't really sound right to me when you say you can't believe in God because you don't "feel" it. Feeling are not to be trusted, as I have well learned (sorry, Obi-Wan). I don't believe because I feel any particular thing, but rather because it makes the most logical sense to me. I don't have room (and you don't have the time or desire) to put my whole complex philosophy here, but I can't believe the unbearable vastness of the galaxies could come from anything but infinity (which God is). |

The Matrix anyone? Seems to me to be just like the Matrix, which can also send the message that you can't just sleep like the machines (the world) wants you to. You must wake up and kill the evil you face. |

I love GLaDOS... this is by far the best song in any video game (unless they go all out in Portal 2) What does it mean? Well... GLaDOS is still alive, doing science on poor victims, making cake, and burning up poor campianion cubes. As for releasing on time... GLaDOS is "enhancing the truth" once again. Valve never releases on time
"Oh, it's you. It's been a looong time. How have you been? I've been very busy being dead, you know after you murdered me?! Look, we both said a lot of things you're going to regret, but I think we can put our differences behind us, for science, you monster." -GLaDOS; Portal 2 |

It is true that not every song by a Christian band has to do with God, but people say that about EVERY SONG!! So I'd like to put out there that not every song by a Christian band isn't about God. |

God uses whatever He needs to bring us to Him. If we need to hit bottom to see we need Him, then that may be what we must do. As for being disrespectful... we all our in different ways to Him at one point or other. |

I'm pretty sure this song is about the singer's pet cat that died while he was being given a bath. When he says "Fluffy, why did you go?" he is kind of blameing the cat for not swimming up out of the tub after the blow dryer fell in. Later when he says "Fluffy, why did I let you go?" he is blameing himself for not pulling the cat out and not stopping the blow dryer from falling in the tub. That's just my take on, but I suppose it's open to interpretation.

I think this song continues along the theme of the entire albulm Innocence and Instinct. There is our instinct, our sinful nature, and our innocence, our desire to be good and rid ourselves of our sinful nature. The two are constantly fighting inside every person, a fight we put up with every day. |

I think this song is obviously about God. In the chorus he is talking about "taking you with me" anywhere and everywhere at every moment. How can that be about anyone other than God? My faverite line "if home is where the heart is, then home is where you are" seems like a direct reference to the Bible. It also makes more sense that you would be dying without God that without a girl. |

| Philmont – I Can't Stand to Fall Lyrics

This song is about someone who has been pushing God away, and now realizes that he must tear down the walls he put up between himself and God, and with God is the only way to do it. Very little to do with falling. Philmont (like the scout ranch) is awesome and I can't believe that so few know them. They are one more good album away from being my faverate band.
