It's about communism, fairly obvious. Probably specifically about Tienanmen Square, fits the timeline as well. This was right before the collapse of the USSR, too. I actually think the "Thousands of people cannot be wrong" is actually sarcasm, intended to point out how oppressive a bunch of people can be, pushing their opinions on you, and believing that they are all right. Anyways, bad ass song. It's one of the most underrate song on Seasons in the Abyss, probably because of how short it is. People aren't usually as in to shorter songs as they are longer ones. |

Incorrect, both of you. Metallica and Slayer around the same time, hell, even released albums the same years (Master of Puppets and Reign in Blood; Show no Mercy and Kill em All). BUT Megadeth, because Mustaine was feeling butthurt about being kicked out of Metallica, created Megadeth. Anthrax probably came in sometime around Megadeth's creation. Slayer and Metallica created thrash. Generally independent of each other, which creates their separate styles. |

I very much do sympathize with the Jews, however, what Mengele did was far more useful than any nonliving experiment. Pretty sick, but a lot of what we know came from his and other doctors experiments. Some of his experiments were obviously just for kicks (seriously, sowing people's heads together isn't even remotely useful), many others were very valuable to science and medicine. But seriously, he was one of the sickest motherfuckers ever. Why those damn Israelis didn't snatch him while they had the chance will baffle me forever. As for the song, epic. My favorite Slayer song by far. The way it was sung could have been a little more rhythmic, but whatever. |

I like how this song doesn't really depict anything other than that feeling you get when something so unbelievable happens you can barely even cope. It's not about one scenario. It's good stuff. For me this happens whenever I can't escape anything and I can't fight back or anything. Not being able to do anything eats me up and makes me die inside. It's so often nowadays, too. I get this feeling a lot. It's beyond even anger and hate. It's beyond that. |

I do quite like this one. I can relate to pretty much every word. I think it's more about just locking yourself out from the world. You just live in your own little world and don't want anyone else entering that world. |
