There's lyrics missing... This is just the Christian side of it. Kind of makes me think that the band was originally Christian, but their song writer got booted... I think the full lyrics are... Now I'm in danger, please set me free." That could be saying that people stop believing in God or stop worrying about trying to be faithful to him until they need his help. And that's not how God works, so it could be saying that that's not the way to be living your Christian life. But I think it's more likely that a Christian was their original writer, and they booted him and changed the meaning with the bridge of the song. †|
