I think it's about a person coming to a self-realisation that they don't want to be locked into a relationship because they are having such a good time being single and by themself. Whilst the lyrics are self explanatory, I feel a sense of depression and saddness from the singer. Although he is willing to love again and not neglect it, I personally think he will be waiting for the rest of his life... |

Probably the most perfect song ever written (by Muse that is). It has such a powerful sound and really captures the listener. I can't help but feel a sense of saddness whilst listening to this song. I think it describes how all hope is lost, whether it was due to a friend failing him or a relationship falling apart.. |
