This song is about a turning point in the singer's life where he all of the sudden starts living totally different. All the bad things are behind him and he's finally happy. "These fevered times" and "paradise" lead up to this point. in " Tranquil" he has finally reached the point in his life where he can start living and stop going through all the pain that is elaborated on in the rest of the album.
