Lifehouse – Nerve Damage Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I think it's kind of like the singer is describing someone he's trying to convince love to. She's kind of the plastic crowd, who hides behind clothing etc, and maybe she's been hurt before, so she's jaded, and is scared of real love. Last verse kind of reinforces this, like she's looking for a sign to prove for certain that it's real. IDK, just my interpretation. |
A Cursive Memory – The Piano Song Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I almost think this is a friendship gone wrong. The guy wants to tell the girl, and did. The result was bad, so he wishes he didn't do it. Because my love, you're my farthest destiny. This kind of says that she's unreachable, but there's something there. |
The Academy Is... – In the Rearview Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Wow, I just rediscovered this song today. It's incredible. Anywho, I can really relate to this, with a slightly nonconventional interpretation. Guy meets girl. Guy and girl are great friends, but the guy wants more. Unfortunately the girl doesn't know what she wants, so they have a falling out, but the guy still has feelings which he must hide away for her. Flash forward a bit. Girl tries to contact him again. Now its been months, and he's almost over her. But the whole thing has left him jaded to love, so he's a bit confused on how to react. Unfortunately they both have a very strong sense of pride. Her in not wanting him to admit that she was wrong, him in that he does not want to admit he's still head over heels for her. |

It`s just a means to an end. Thats your question marks. |
Paramore – That's What You Get Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Pretty obvious meaning to me. She sacrificed much for this guy, who in return, was a complete ass (pardon my french), and after they break up, she's just wondering where she goes now. |
All Time Low – Remembering Sunday Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Apologies for the revival of the dead thread, but, I disagree with YourZeldaness, I think from the song, she reciprocated, but was scared of commitment, so she never showed it. Years probably past, with her always on his mind, at which point he returned, but it was too late, whether it be due to death or the girl moving away. |
A Rocket to the Moon – Like We Used To Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I agree with all of the above, but I think they broke up because he likely caught her cheating on him Fourteen months and seven days ago... Oh, I know you know, How we felt about that night. Just your skin against the window... Oh, we took it slow, And we both know... It should've been me inside that car. It should've been me instead of him... in the dark. ^From that part^ That's all xD |
