He has described this one of several times on his (the lead singer's) twitter account, @LandonTours. It's a song about the guy that raped his ex girlfriend/best friend. It has nothing to do with loneliness or intelligence. It's simply Landon wanting to exact revenge on the worthless little shit that defiled someone he loved. |

Alan didn't write this... or most of the album. Alan and Austin did a few of the heavier songs (Ohioisonfire, I'm A Monster, Product of a Murderer, O.G. Loko, Still YDG'n) and Shayley did the rest. There's a reason that Austin says, in every interview, this is his favorite song. Shayley killed the vocals on his own and barely got help writing it from anyone else. This, Repeating Apologies, The Great Hendowski, and When You Can't Sleep At Night are all songs he did almost solely on his own.. |

The meaning, I'm not quite sure of. I think part of it is related to Idolatry, which is what Born to Lose and Dead Throne are about, but I can't really figure out what else it could be.. |

Honestly, I think this is about Telle.
"The curse of the Greeley Estates bass players"
If you think about it, how he left the band just days before a tour in November 2008 (throwing us to the pack of wolves), and how one of The Word Alive's songs written by Craig was "The Devil Inside"
Also, "you put fire to everything that you touch and then you walk away while it burns...." could be a reference to the In Fear & Faith album/song "Your World On Fire"
But, then again, I could be completely wrong...
