Pretty self-explanatory, a girl came into his life, and when she left, he is 'in the dark' (a metaphor for being lost), and he's telling us that 'if we see her, shine a light on her', which is telling us that we should help him find her back. Pretty awkward coming from a Taio Cruz feature, but the song is really lovable. |

Nobody has commented on this song? Wow, that's kinda sad, considering this is one lovely piece. From what can be interpreted from the lyrics, it sounds like he's writing this to his current other half, telling her how someday he'll be insignificant and history to her but it won't matter cause he'll always continue to love her. Or it may be a song written to someone close, or maybe even a crush. |

This song is most possibly, if not definitely about what a guy goes through after a breakup. Whether the mistake is on either side, when we leave a relationship, we are always bombarded with feelings of insecurity, because something that completed you before has left and become a fragment of the past, a memory. We aren't designed to always look forward, and most of the time we drown in our sorrow, every time we fail to look forward and reflect on the past instead. In this song, it seems that the girl was the one who called for the breakup. I totally agree with oxconversexo. If you're gonna leave, just get out, you don't have to 'make it easier for us to deal with', or try to 'rub it in our face'. So true, how the new BLG is really maturing and interpreting emotions each one of us feels. Off topic, I really hate girls who do this to guys. It's just plain mean. |

MiNHaJ: It shows that you are too skeptical about what an artist makes. If it's a nice song then so be it. It doesn't HAVE to come from this or that. Anyway, back to the topic. If you ask me, this song is definitely about a person facing depression, a death, a loss, anything. This person can't face the truth. And this song is just reaching out to them, telling them that they have to move on, or they'll 'spend their whole life holding on'. Honestly I never expected this from BLG too but it's one of the sweetest songs I find on the album. Down to the point - this song is amazing. It reaches out to you in ways indescribable. |
