I think this song has to do with a girl who is about to kill herself. And she takes a moment to ponder if it's what she really wants to become of her life. and her friend, is trying to tell her that it's not over, and that she deserves more to life then she ever saw. All that he wants is to save her, for him, foe the fallen, and for herself. He wants to set her free. That's just what i got out of it.. |

This relates to me completely. In fact, the whole album does. This was the first song I heard. Basically, (I think) this song is about having a very close relationship with someone enough to trust them. (which is a big deal for me) Then that trust suddenly brakes and apart right when you think you can start trusting again. Then, after it's all over you look back and think how blind you were and how different you would make of it. In terms of the thief, the person stole something of you that you can't ever get back. (for me it was the trust) I agree with the "sign your life away" because in a sense, I think that's what I did. I basically handed over my life, only to discover betrayal. This song is amazing. It put my emotions and feelings into words. |

I take it as someone who went through an addiction and is battling themselves but telling them that they want to quit. And he wants to feel alive because the addiction of whatever it is is getting to the point where he doesn't even have the sense of "living" anymore. Hense the "I am not innocent" because he realized that the addiction is bad. But I like how he's "Not afraid" to take a stand instead of being consumed into his problem.(:That's just how I viewed the song when I heard it. I also LOVE this song. It's amazing. <3. |

i dont like most of there songs and wouldnt agree that they are "amazing" but i do have to commend on how well done this song is. i am very deep and lyrical and this song gets a very high rating with me. i like the fact that they are all admitting they have a problem and i do believe this is a cry for help. i dont agree with the masks though, its kinda freaky.. but a very well done good song! :) |
