This is referring to Jesus doubt about his destiny and how he is walking a path know one else is walking the path of no sin and sacrifice which can be read in Mark 14: 35-36,Matthew 26: 36-40,Luke 22: 39-46 In these verse Jesus basically tells and pleads to God that he can not carry the burden and he does not want to follow his destiny. *This is daily crucifixion and these rusty nails leave scars. This is very easy to interpret its talking about Jesus Crucifixion in which he died for the world's sins the Romans put a crown of thrones on his head and nailed nails into his hand on the cross.Mark (15:17), and John (19:2, 5.It also refers to the fact that even when Jesus rose up from the dead he still had the scars from the nails.
