| This is the movie's "Circle of Life' song you can say. It really is beautiful and so true. Some people just need to listen. | |

Yes they're talking about Scar; Kovu looks a bunch like him too which makes things all the more difficult for him. Anyway this song still gives me chills, I'm seventeen and I was somewhere between eight and ten when the movie came out, the same chills I got from "Be Prepared" and "Circle of Life" from the original. The movie itself wasn't all that great but the soundtrack is as good as the original's. |

Go to Youtube, Find the clip in German. It's even more awsome and then the Nazi overtnes really became clear. The sequence was based on a sequence from the Nazi prop flim "Triumph of the Will. Seriously. Once you get the overtones it will send more chills down your spine than ever before. And Thisweather is right; Disney sucks today. I prefer to think that Disney went outta the movie making business after Mulan II. It eases the heavy heart of yearning. But Disney is mking a comeback with decent movies with 'The Princess and The Frog'. |

| Toby Keith – American Ride Lyrics | 16 years ago |

But he has, this song isn't unpatriotic it's just pointing out reality. Small businnesses and farms are being destroyed by big corporations. Todays youth are so damn guible and stupid that even if something contains a "DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME" some kid somwhere will attempt it. Celebs in catfights get so much media attention it's un believable and every time they're on TV they get richer and richer and richer. Ozone is being destroyed but most corps don't wanna go green cause it's just not cost effective. The wage and salary of your average worker is just not enough to cover the costs of living a deccent life unless we get second jobs or do overtime. And, although I am an atheist, he's right. The material things of life are overriding goodwill, ospitalily and everything else any good religion tries to teach it's followers. I mean how long has the government been debating the Healthcare reform when we're heading for another Great Depression? This song can come off as Anti- America only if you don't get the references. |

| Green Day – Know Your Enemy Lyrics | 16 years ago |

You know, though I am a mere high schooler who wasn't around for GD's glory days, I do like this song because in my opinion, as other members have stated, it's asking us if we really know who our enemy is. Yet I must add there seems to be a side the you're all missing. We are told that most muslims want nothing more to kill us infidals and themselves so that they can go to heaven to do it with 77 forever virgins and most people don't know more about Islam than that. Our media sources have given muslims such a bad rap that most people don't care to learn more about the religion. So I honestly do think that it's telling us to look deeper and not just blindly obey the people in charge of our government. There are hints of a message asking for a 'Le Revolution' and there are hints of anti-Bushism and it is a bit of a ralleying song because most wake-up calls have those parts. And on the repetitiveness of the lyrics they, I may be giving them far too much credit here, needed to get the point across and some people have really thick skulls. Why do you think half the songs from Seasame Street and the Wiggles or The Imagination Movers are such simple songs? Because ninety percent of kids are idoits. Just like ninety percent of adults are idoits, except the adults are informed idiots who could do something about their idiocy but perfer being hand fed misinformation and being sheep... Sorry for the rant. |
